GE Africa Social Media
A key partner in supporting Sub-Saharan Africa’s socio-economic growth, GE Africa operates in the oil & gas, power, transportation, healthcare, renewables, energy connections and aviation sectors. We were given the task of increasing engagement and awareness of the brand through a comprehensive social media campaign.
We created high engaging infographics that educated the target market in the specialised areas of GE Africa and the great successes of the brand in helping to develop economies in Africa. The approach with the infographics was to keep audiences engaged and educate through fun and interactive visuals that were easily understood and hard to forget.
We developed a full content strategy that supported informing targeted audiences of the specialised ﬁelds that GE Africa operates in as well increasing brand equity.
We drove engagement through the GE Africa social media pages by creating unique and captivating social media posts to increase awareness and action from consumers and potential consumers. It was also used to educate consumers regarding the GE Africa vision for Africa.

The first quarter alone saw the GE Africa Facebook fan base grow from just 96 fans to over 17 000 fans, proving beyond a doubt that this was a highly successful social media campaign that drew attention and engagement from users.
