Augmenting Haier Living
Haier is ranked the No.1 Global Major Appliances Brand; we were given the task of creating awareness around the brand in South Africa, driving sales, and bringing Haier appliances to life so that potential customers could envision the products in their home.
We were given the brief to create an augmented reality app for Haier that allowed users to envision Haier products in their homes, without owning actually owning the products.
We engaged in app development, 3D modelling and design and 3D modelling of Haier appliances so as to create a fully interactive app that integrated the unique selling points of Haier’s appliances so that clients could experience how Haier appliances work in their own homes.
This was done as an experiential campaign to build trust with new consumers and encourage them to purchase a brand they were not familiar with. The app was created so that people could experience the products in their own home.
Downloads exceeded 100,000 and opportunities were served through social media, enticing users to enquire and purchase the products. We saw their fan base grow by 30% and saw a 28% increase in user engagement.
