Hard Working, Hard Wearing
Dickies is a work wear inspired clothing brand that is embraced not only by the young, energetic and vibrant, but also those individuals who simply choose to live the brand. We were tasked to bring awareness to this brand through the Hard Working, Hard Wearing project.
Dickies briefed us to create several videos of individuals who lived the Dickies brand in their everyday life. These videos would in turn talk to the influencer’s followers and encourage them to show their support for the brand. The approach to filming these videos was to demonstrate the influencer’s skill-sets and how Dickies clothing fits with their every-day lifestyle.
We carried out video production, a social media campaign and influencer management. We selected key influencers that tapped in to the target market and who spoke to their own audience. The videos of the influencers were created to show their passion for what they do daily and in doing so, their passion for the brand.
All the videos were created to express the influencer’s raw emotion and their interest in the Dickies brand and how Dickies is appropriate for everyday wear across many career fields. These videos increased the brands reach through the influencers followers and created a feeling of nostalgia and heritage that is associated with Dickies products.
Rapper Uno July embodies the retro-become-nouveau personality dedicated to representing the Cape Town and with his large following and his sick beats he personifies the Hard Working, Hard Wearing project.
